Employee Benefits
Medical, Vision & Prescription Drugs - Depending on the location, eligible employees may select medical coverage from a combination of a Preferred Provider Organization (PPO) or from a Health Maintenance Organization (HMO). Coverage is available on the first day of employment.
Dental - Avega offers two dental plan options at most locations. Plans include coverage for preventative care, major restorative care, and limited orthodontia.
Flexible Spending Accounts - Employees can save pre-tax for medical or dependent care coverage.
Life Insurance - Avega provides company-paid life insurance equal in the amount of one times the annual base salary. Avega also provides the opportunity to purchase supplemental insurance at term rates.
Accident Insurance - Avega provides company-paid accidental death and dismemberment insurance coverage and an option to purchase additional coverage at term rates.
Disability Plans - Avega provides disability benefits to compensate employees during short-term or long -term disabilities.
Retirement Plans - Avega offers a 401k plan with company match and 100% vesting after 5 years of service.
Paid Time Off - Avega realizes the importance of creating a balance between work and personal life. To work to the highest ability, employees need to take time away from their job for rest, recreation, and important personal matters. To accommodate those needs, Avega provides a generous time-off program that includes vacation, holiday, personal days, and sick days that accrue at a monthly rate beginning on your start date.
Heart and Soul program - MedAssets will pay its employees their normal hourly rate or salary up to five business days per calendar year to serve at a qualified and approved charity. That’s right, up to five days to support your community in a meaningful way.
